Deposit and Final Payment
A $200 Deposit, or the total tariff if the booking is within 30 days of arrival, or as otherwise requested, is payable at time of booking by Credit Card or (EFT) Electronic Funds Transfer.
A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made, without exception.
The tariff stated on the final letter of confirmation will be considered the agreed tariff & negate any previous quotes.
Balance is payable on arrival, we accept Master Card and Visa, please note we do not accept cheques as final payment without prior arrangement. If arriving outside of normal office hours, the final balance is required prior to arrival, and may be deducted from the credit card supplied unless otherwise arranged with management. Any balances outstanding 48 hours prior to departure may be deducted from the credit card supplied, and transacted as an express check-out unless otherwise arranged with management.
Please note that Mykonos Apartments does not accept payments with American Express credit cards.
Photo ID must be provided on arrival and a copy will be taken for security purposes. If ID does not match we can refuse the right to let you enter the apartment.
The credit card used to pay for the accommodation must be sighted by management and must match the guest’s ID who is checking in. If this credit card cannot be sighted or does not match the details given to pay for the accommodation we can refuse you entry to the apartments.
Cancellations and Refunds
The guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival. If the guest does not show up they will be charged the total price.
Cancellation of “Peak, Holiday Seasons & Festivals” bookings will forfeit the total deposit paid, and will be charged at the full confirmed tariff if cancelled within 60 days of arrival, these bookings are non-transferrable without prior agreement with management.
No refunds will be given on Early Departure, and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.
Check in is after 2pm.
Check out is strictly 10am (Late check-outs may be charged at an additional nights accommodation).
Keys that are not returned will be charged to the credit card supplied, at $60.00 each key.
Although much loved, pets are not permitted within the complex.
Apartments must be left in a relatively clean & tidy condition on departure, to avoid additional cleaning charges. Any charges will be applied per hour (whole hours) at managements current standard rate. If the apartment is deemed “un-rentable” for any fair reason a standard nights’ accommodation may be charged to the credit card provided.
Pool & BBQ Area
There is a strict no GLASS in or around the pool/BBQ area. If a guest breaks a glass and the pool needs to be empty you will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.
The BBQ area is to be kept clean and tidy and all BBQ’s are to be cleaned properly after each use. Failure to do so could result in a cleaning fee.
Only hotel Guest and residents are allow to use our pool/BBQ facilities.
All children under the age of 4 or children that aren’t yet toilet trained MUST wear a swimming nappy. In the event of an accident a cleaning fee may apply.
All children under the age of 12 years old MUST be supervised by an adult.
All apartments are non-smoking. Any traces of residual smoke inside, or reminisce of butts outside will incur an additional cleaning.
A charge of $200, and any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.
Behavior & Additional Charges
All apartments are considered “family & couples friendly” with a “No Party” policy, whereby group bookings are not accepted without the prior consent of management.
Management reserves the right to evict any person/s from the premises immediately and without notice, or refund for any disturbances or unruly behavior causing disruption to other guests, or in accordance with the conditions stated in the guest registration form, at time of check-in or on acceptance of keys, and as deemed necessary by the manager.
Management also reserves the right to charge guest for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning, and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided on booking, following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.
Only the designated person/s at the time of check-in, are permitted to stay in the apartment/s, any additions to this may be charged the average nightly rate for the duration of the booking, and all occupants may be required to leave the premises.
Changes & Interpretation
We will not be responsible for any interpretation or misunderstanding about the premises booked and our cancellation policy will apply. Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notification.
While individual Apartments can be booked and all efforts of management will be made to maintain the booking for the apartment chosen, management do not guarantee the allocation of any apartment.
STRICT NO SCHOOLIES POLICY
Please note that this property does not accept ‘Schoolies’ bookings. It does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual ‘Schoolies Week’ period (18 November, 2017 until 10 December, 2017). It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period. All guests that stay at Mykonos Apartments during this time will be required to show a valid photo ID and each room will be charged a $300 bond.
